My background extends beyond traditional marketing roles. I've built a solid foundation in sales psychology, which gave me a strong understanding of customer behaviour and how to drive action. This experience naturally led me to performance and growth marketing, where a focus on metrics and ROI is paramount.
Over the past five years, I've also developed my leadership capabilities and expanded into marketing operations and design thinking. This broader perspective allows me to integrate sales, communications, branding, and design to deliver truly impactful solutions, with marketing as a key component of this.

If only there was a secret sauce! While a bit of luck and creative flair certainly play a role, I've found that the most fundamental ingredient is empathy. A good marketer needs to consistently step outside their own perspective and truly inhabit the customer's shoes. It sounds simple, but it's surprising how often it's overlooked. I spend a lot of time advocating for the customer's experience, identifying opportunities to improve everything from brand perception to the purchasing journey.
Ultimately, it's about deeply understanding your audience, rigorously experimenting to validate those insights, and using data to drive customer-centric decisions.

I love working with small to medium-sized businesses. Their agility and the potential for rapid impact are incredibly energising. I believe in fostering open communication and a collaborative environment where everyone's contribution is valued. I'm not afraid to ask the silly questions to ensure a clear understanding of the challenges at hand, prioritising practical solutions over trying to be the smartest person in the room.

My exposure to an agile consultancy provided valuable insights into the importance of a strong, collaborative culture. For me, agile is less about rigid methodologies and more about embracing the core values and principles of the Agile Manifesto.
These values cultivate trust, open communication, and adaptability, especially within dynamic and often remote-first teams.
